I purchased my first Beagle in 1987. Her name was Megan Marie and she was perfect…

A friend nagged me into signing up for obedience lessons with Megan and I’ve been taking classes ever since.

I’ve enjoyed Obedience, Rally, Agility. Flyball, Scentwork and even Dock Diving lessons. In addition, I was with Nor Cal Beagle Rescue for 8 years and I am now also active in Confirmation showing.

I have been ridiculed, embarrassed, scorned and even accused of being a martyr (for trying to train a Beagle in obedience), but I plod on.

The first Wrighteous Beagle (an accident) made his appearance in 1996. His name was Merlin, Wrighteous’ He’s Magic, and he was. Enough so, he was responsible for me becoming an intentional Beagle breeder! Merlin taught me about real love….as only a puppy can.

I love breeding beautiful, healthy Beagles but I tell potential puppy homes that “I am the breeder from hell” because I never want any of my puppies to end up in rescue or a shelter, and because of that reason, I screen puppy homes very, very carefully.

When you purchase a puppy from me, in addition to being adorable, they will be healthy, socialized, litter box trained, crate trained and already know a few verbal commands. In addition, I will show you how to teach your new puppy to sit, come, lay down and cuddle. You’ll need to be patient and kind and alpha. Yes, Alpha! Dogs need a leader to respect, love and obey and that’s who you must learn to be…..

So that’s who I am and that’s what I do……
